Club Racing

Racing is at the heart of Strangford Lough Yacht Club and takes place on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday during the Sailing Season.
The Race area in Strangford Lough Yacht Club is unique as races are started on Trasnagh Island, just outside the bay of the club. Racing Marks are positioned in concentric circles around the club, allowing Race Officials to start a race with a beat whatever the wind direction is, resulting in excellent racing.
